Amazon has introduced Alexa+, a new generation of its voice assistant that transforms Alexa into a more comprehensive personal assistant powered by generative artificial intelligence.
Initially launching in the United States, Alexa+ will be free for Amazon Prime members and available to non-Prime users for $19.99 per month.

As shown in the product presentation, Alexa+ "keeps you entertained, helps you learn and stay organized, summarizes complex topics, and can converse about virtually anything. Alexa+ can manage and protect your home, make reservations, and help you follow, discover, and enjoy new artists. It can also help you search, find, or buy practically any product online, and can offer helpful suggestions based on your interests."
