Tripadvisor identifies the 14 main trends in the world of travel

The online travel company Tripadvisor has just published its first report on trends related to the world of travel, "Tripadvisor Trendcast 2025".

The authors of this work say that "our first-ever Trendcast captures it all—it’s the ultimate pulse check on where travelers are now and what’ll be driving them forward for years to come".

The report identifies 14 trends, for each of which it offers a detailed explanation, supporting data, and specific recommendations. All of this is presented in an attractive and dynamic way:

“One thing is certain – it’s gametime for AI, and it’s only getting more intense… and the genie is not going back in the bottle”.

With these words concludes the comprehensive 340-page report that the BOND team, led by analyst Mary Meeker, has just published on the state of artificial intelligence.

For years, Meeker published a report on the state of the internet that became an essential reference for the industry. Now, she is trying to do the same with the world of AI.

The report, which offers a massive amount of data and information, suggests that changes are happening faster than ever and that the growth in AI usage, in the number of users, in investment and also in costs is unprecedented.

The creativity challenge proposed by The New York Times

The Well section of The New York Times newspaper, dedicated to health and wellness topics, is offering throughout this week "The Creativity Challenge," a series of daily proposals for users to activate and exercise their minds.

According to the newspaper's explanation, Many of us have a narrow definition of creativity. “We think it’s a rare gift reserved for artists. But we’re all creative in some way, whether or not we think so. And being creative comes with big health benefits. It can energize you, sharpen your ideas and problem-solving skills and act as a powerful antidote against burnout”

The benefits that creativity brings are multiple and varied. ·Research links creativity to happiness and well-being, and a 2021 study found that older people who participated in creative activities showed less cognitive decline than those who did not”, the newspaper explains.

To help develop creativity skills, the NYT is proposing a different activity to readers each day this week.

Are you up for trying them?
