The Nintendo Museum opens its doors today in Japan

Video game and Nintendo console enthusiasts from around the world now have a museum entirely dedicated to this company and its creations. It's the Nintendo Museum, located in the town of Uji, Kyoto (Japan), which officially opens its doors this Wednesday, October 2.

The Nintendo Museum, which was announced three years ago, is located in a historic company plant, used since 1969.

The museum allows visitors to review the history of products launched by Nintendo over the years, and enjoy them, from Hanafuda cards to Nintendo Switch, including Super Mario and many other protagonists of the entertainment offered by this company.

This recently published video offers us a tour of the new Nintendo Museum guided by the legendary video game designer and producer Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of some of the most influential franchises in this industry, such as Mario, Donkey Kong or The Legend of Zelda, among others.

Yesterday, Tuesday, October 1, the finalists for the 14th edition of the Lovie Awards were announced. “The Lovie Awards is the most prestigious, and the only, truly pan-European awards recognising European Internet excellence in the fields of culture, technology and business.”
