⛰️ The 25 best places to travel to in 2026 according to National Geographic

National Geographic magazine has just published its annual "Best of the World" special featuring the 25 best destinations to travel to throughout 2026, selected by the editors, photographers, and adventurers of this prestigious publication.

This year's list includes destinations such as the Dolomites, the Basque Country in Spain, Quebec (Canada), a coast-to-coast journey through South Korea, Rabat (Morocco), a road trip along the iconic Route 66 in the United States, Costa Chica de Oaxaca in Mexico, the Colombian city of Medellín, and Fiji, among other options.

The readers' selection for 2026, the Readers' Choice Winner, goes to Banff (Canada). "This stunning alpine jewel achieves what few destinations can: a perfect harmony between cosmopolitan energy and untamed nature, where you can sip locally roasted artisan coffee on Banff Avenue one moment and spot a wandering grizzly bear the next," the magazine states.
