The 100 Best Movies of the 21st Century

More than 500 directors, actors and other figures linked to the film world from around the globe have participated in a vote proposed by The New York Times newspaper to choose the 100 best movies from the first 25 years of the 21st century.

Each of these people had to name ten movies. The New York Times' The Upshot team has compiled all the responses to create a list of the 100 most outstanding films.

Voters included Oscar-winning directors like Pedro Almodóvar, Sofia Coppola, Barry Jenkins and Guillermo del Toro, as well as actors like Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mikey Madison, John Turturro and Julianne Moore, among many others.

Throughout this week, the movies have been published, 20 each day, starting with the last ones. This Friday the list is completed with the 20 best movies of what we've seen of the century so far.

Netflix prepares the opening of its first Netflix Houses

The first Netflix Houses are scheduled to open their doors at the end of this year 2025 in the American cities of Philadelphia and Dallas. And, in 2027, the third Netflix House will open in Las Vegas.

What is a Netflix House? If Disney has its theme parks, you could say that Netflix is going to build its own entertainment spaces so that fans can live immersive experiences related to their favorite series and movies.

"With more than 9,300 square meters, Netflix House is a permanent year-round home for fans, bringing to life some of our most popular series and movies, such as Wednesday, Squid Game, ONE PIECE, Stranger Things and the A Knives Out Mystery franchise, through unique immersive experiences based on stories," Netflix has explained.

Netflix Houses will update their experience offerings so that fans can live different adventures on each occasion. The houses will feature NETFLIX BITES, a "casual restaurant with food and artisanal cocktails inspired by popular Netflix stories and characters," and a store with exclusive products.

Netflix House has its own website, netflixhouse.com, where users can learn more about each house's offerings and reserve tickets in advance.
