  • Apple announces new iPhone 16e, the most affordable model with Apple Intelligence

Monitoring the 2032 Earth impact threat from asteroid 2024 YR4

According to NASA, for the past few days, asteroid 2024 YR4 has had a 3.1% chance of impacting Earth on December 22, 2032, representing the highest level of potential impact from a space rock against our planet detected to date.

Asteroid 2024 YR4 has a diameter of between 40 and 90 meters.

As for the ESA, the European Space Agency, their most recent calculations indicate a 2.8% probability of Earth impact.

These percentages, however, will vary as more trajectory data becomes available, and they are likely to soon drop to zero.

The ESA will update this percentage and the accompanying information graphics once per day.

2024 YR4 was detected last December and is expected to pass very close to Earth in 2032.

The threat level reported by NASA exceeds the maximum that was previously assigned to asteroid Apophis, which at one point had a 2.7% probability of impacting our planet in 2029. Subsequent observations reduced the probability to zero.

Google Books, Google's service to search, discover and read millions of books

The Google Books service allows users to search through the contents of an enormous catalog of books. Google provides search results showing books that include the search terms entered by the user.

In cases where the publisher has given permission, or for out-of-print books, Google Books offers a preview of the book and, in some cases, its complete text. If it's a public domain book, users can download a PDF copy.

Each book has a comprehensive reference page that includes reviews, user ratings and scores, information about the book and the author, and other relevant details about that work.

Additionally, links are provided to purchase the book from different stores or borrow it when that option is available.

At this link you can see an example page for the book "Atomic Habits" by James Clear

Google Books currently has more than 10 million free books available to read or download, and continues to add new titles to its extensive library.

Users can create a personal library to organize and manage their favorite books.
