MIT OpenCourseWare, free online courses and materials from MIT
The MIT OpenCourseWare is an online educational initiative launched in 2001 by the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that offers free and open access to educational materials used in MIT's undergraduate and graduate courses.
These free educational materials come from thousands of MIT courses and cover all of its academic fields.
"Knowledge is your reward," say the creators of this MIT project, which doesn't offer certificates to users, but also doesn't ask for anything in return.
One of the distinguishing features compared to other educational offerings is that there's no need to register or sign up for courses. Users can freely browse through the available materials at their own pace, without start or end dates.

Travel search engine Kayak launches AI search tool
The online travel search engine Kayak, owned by Booking Holdings, has recently launched KAYAK.ai, an artificial intelligence platform that allows users to conduct conversational searches to plan their trips.
KAYAK.ai, which uses ChatGPT AI technology from OpenAI, searches for options and prices for flights, hotels, and other travel services from more than 400 providers.
This initiative is designed as an innovation laboratory for Kayak, which wants to discover how users will interact conversationally with the information and tools that the company offers when planning their trips.
For example, KAYAK.ai can help users find the best destinations for less than a certain amount of money for a weekend, or what the best direct flight options are between two cities, or which hotels meet the user's specific requirements, all through conversation.

See the World Map centered wherever you want
Want to get a world map centered on any country you choose and with the type of cartographic projection that interests you most?
This is something that the website engaging-data.com allows you to do, offering an interactive tool with which users can choose a country or any point in the world and select the type of projection they want—from five available options—to obtain a personalized world map
For example, the following image is centered on Spain and applies the orthographic projection to the globe.
Additionally, it's possible to rotate the image or save it, as well as share it.
The five available projections are the following: orthographic (globe), Mercator, Mollweide, equirectangular, and Gall Peters.
