Meta AI is the artificial intelligence developed by Meta, the company that owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Meta's AI is a conversational assistant that users can access both on the web and directly from apps like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. It's available in numerous languages, including Spanish and English.
Meta AI answers questions on any topic, generates text, translates, creates summaries, helps generate ideas, or solves problems, among many other functionalities typical of generative AI.
Last March, when the service expanded to Europe, the company said Meta AI already had more than 700 million monthly active users.

The era of AI agents begins, according to Microsoft
The company Microsoft is holding its annual developers conference, Microsoft Build, from May 19 to 22 in Seattle (United States), which can be followed live through their website.
On the first day, according to Frank X. Shaw, Microsoft's Chief Communications Officer, it was highlighted that "we have entered the era of AI agents."
Shaw explains it this way:
"Thanks to groundbreaking advances in reasoning and memory, AI models are now more capable and efficient, and we're seeing how AI can help us solve problems in new ways.
For example, 15 million developers are already using GitHub Copilot, and features like agent mode and code review are streamlining the way they program, test, deploy, and troubleshoot."
Furthermore, "hundreds of thousands of customers use Microsoft 365 Copilot to research, contribute ideas, and develop solutions, and more than 230,000 organizations—including 90% of Fortune 500 companies—have already used Copilot Studio to create AI-based agents and automations."
Regarding the immediate future, Microsoft's Communications Director states that "we envision a world where agents act in individual, organizational, team, and business contexts. This emerging vision of the Internet is an open agentive network, where AI agents make decisions and perform tasks on behalf of users or organizations."
