McDonald's overtakes Starbucks as World's Most Valuable Restaurant Brand

A recent study by Brand Finance reveals that the fast-food chain McDonald's has become the world's most valuable restaurant brand, surpassing the coffee chain Starbucks.

The report also shows that 17 of the world's 25 most valuable restaurant brands managed to increase their value over the past year, with a total brand value of $174.9 billion.

The McDonald's brand reached $40.5 billion in value, a 7% increase from the previous year. In contrast, Starbucks lost 36% of its brand value, which was positioned at $38.8 billion.

U.S. companies continue to dominate this ranking, although various restaurant brands from other international markets are increasing their value.
