š Googleās Year in Search 2025

Google has just published its annual special "Year in Search 2025," which offers a ranking of the most searched topics throughout this year across various categories worldwide (Global) and by specific countries.
One of the main new features this year comes from the new artificial intelligence capabilities applied to Google Search, which allow users to formulate queries in a more conversational way.
There's also a trend toward understanding topics rather than just searching for specific answers. And practical questions about how to do something have increased by 25% compared to last year.
The special offers rankings for general trends (searches, news, people, and obituaries), entertainment, sports, lifestyle, and games, among other options.

š§ Spotify launches wrapped 2025, its interactive global and personalized roundup

Once again, Spotify has published its special year-end roundup, 2025 Spotify Wrapped, which covers both the general trends on this platform over the past 12 months and what has happened with each of its 700 million users thanks to the personalized edition of Wrapped available through the Spotify app.
At the top of this year's rankings are the following artists and tracks:
In 2025, and for the fourth time in Spotify's history, the number one artist is Bad Bunny, with 19.8 billion streams of his songs. His album DeBà TiRAR MÔS FOToS has been the most listened to. Following him in the artist rankings are Taylor Swift (second, though first in the U.S.), The Weeknd (third), Drake (fourth), and Billie Eilish (fifth).

The most-streamed song this year on Spotify is "Die With A Smile," the collaboration between Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, with 1.7 billion streams. The second has been "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" by Billie Eilish.

As for podcasts, the leader for the sixth consecutive year has been The Joe Rogan Experience, followed by The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett and The Mel Robbins Podcast.
The personalized version of Wrapped offers information that's already classic to this interactive special, such as total listening minutes or the most-listened-to artists, genres, songs, and podcasts. But also new features, such as a comparison with other users by age, a music quiz, or a fan ranking of major artists. Additionally, this year marks the debut of Wrapped Party, which allows users to share their musical year live with their friends.
