Google Earth: the tool to explore the world

Google Earth is an incredible application from Google that allows us to explore the world from our computer or mobile device with great detail. We can view high-resolution aerial images, explore 3D terrains and buildings of hundreds of cities, or "walk" through streets and neighborhoods with 360º Street View perspectives.

Google Earth, available for web and mobile, lets users view 3D or 2D scenes and change perspectives and inclinations at any time. Users can also create content in Earth by drawing on maps, adding markers, marking lines or shapes, and incorporating photos and videos.

With Google Earth Pro, a more comprehensive application available for computers, users can create maps with advanced tools. For example, it is possible to import and export GIS data or use historical images to review a specific location over time. The program is available for PC, Mac, and Linux.

Product Hunt: The site to launch and discover new tech products

Product Hunt is a free global community of tech enthusiasts that provides daily information about new products launched in the market.

This platform is an excellent way for new products to be easily discovered by users, who can vote for the ones they find most interesting. Each day, new product launches are published, and the list is organized based on the votes received.

Users can browse the most successful launches by date and see the top-rated products in multiple categories and subcategories. Product Hunt also offers a free daily newsletter, already subscribed to by 800,000 users.

Medium: digital platform for reading and publishing with over a million members

Medium is an online platform for reading and publishing articles on various topics. Founded in 2012 by Evan Williams, co-founder and former CEO of Twitter, Medium aims to provide an easy-to-use publishing platform. Williams was CEO until July 2022, when Tony Stubblebine took over.

Over 100 million people engage with Medium monthly. 

The platform offers a paid membership, costing $5 per month or $60 annually, to access unlimited articles, supporting its ad-free business model. Medium surpassed one million paid members in April 2024. Members can also join the “Partner Program” to earn income based on user engagement with their articles.
