The historic McKinsey Quarterly magazine, published since 1964, is now available in a digital replica format, offering an immersive online reading experience similar to print. To access it for free, simply register on the McKinsey website.

Apple launches Apple Maps for web in Beta 

Last week, Apple launched the public beta of Apple Maps for the web, which is available in public beta, allowing users around the world to access Maps directly from their browser. Previously, this service was only available as an iPhone app.

Now, users can get driving and walking directions; find great places and useful information including photos, hours, ratings, and reviews; take actions like ordering food directly from the Maps place card; and browse curated Guides to discover places to eat, shop, and explore in cities around the world. Additional features, including Look Around, will be available in the coming months.

Maps on the web is currently available in English, and is compatible with Safari and Chrome on Mac and iPad, as well as Chrome and Edge on Windows PCs. Support for additional languages, browsers, and platforms will be expanded over time.

3rd annual list names the city in each U.S. state most likely to support the wellbeing of multigenerational families

Fortune magazine has launched the third annual Fortune 50 Best Places to Live for Families 2024, showcasing the cities and towns across America that best support the unique needs of multigenerational families. 

Two cities—top-ranked Silver Spring, MD, and Portsmouth, NH—made the top 10 for the second year in a row. Iowa City is the only locale to make the list three years in a row.

The ranking is created annually as part of Fortune Well, Fortune's health and wellness hub.

The top 10 Fortune Best Places to Live for Families 2024 are:

  3. Chantilly, VA

  4. Ann Arbor, MI

  5. Mason, OH
