ChatEurope, the first AI chatbot dedicated to European news

On July 1, 2025, ChatEurope was launched, a European news platform involving 15 European media outlets and companies that features an AI-powered chatbot that answers users' questions about European news in all EU languages.
The project, led by Agence France-Presse, includes participation from the following media outlets and companies:
Agence France-Presse (AFP) / France
Agenzia Nazionale Stampa Associata (ANSA) / Italy
Agora Media Group / Poland
German Press Agency (dpa) / Germany
Deutsche Welle (DW) / Germany
DRUID AI / Romania
El Pais / Spain
France Médias Monde / France
Maldita.es / Spain
MediaConnect (AFP) / France
news aktuell (dpa) / Germany
Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso Transeuropa (OBCT) / Italy
RFI Romania / Romania
XWIKI SAS / France
XWIKI SOFTWARE / Romania
“At the heart of this innovative project, the ChatEurope chatbot was developed by the Romanian company DRUID AI and operates using the language model of the French company Mistral.” according to its developers. The news platform has been developed as a technical partner by Xwiki.
The responses offered by ChatEurope are based solely on the thousands of articles provided by consortium members and sources are always cited.
The project offers "Breaking news, analyses, explanatory formats to better understand Europe, articles on the national implications of European policies, vertical videos on social media and even documentaries".
The platform has been launched in seven languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Romanian, and Polish, but the chatbot can respond in all EU languages.
ChatEurope is co-financed by the European Commission and "enjoys complete editorial independence, key to its credibility," according to the consortium behind it.

Manus: discover what the new generative AI agents can do

Manus is an autonomous artificial intelligence agent capable of planning and executing a wide variety of tasks requested by the user. It was publicly launched by Chinese startup Monica last March and operates from Singapore, where its global headquarters is located.
One of Manus's characteristics is its ability to perform a wide variety of complex tasks independently, with minimal human intervention.
For example, Manus can automate numerous digital tasks, analyze data and generate reports, create and edit content, or develop apps and websites, among many other actions.
According to the description that can be read on its own website, "Manus is a general AI agent that connects ideas with actions: it doesn't just think, it delivers results. Manus excels at various tasks at work and in life, getting everything done while you rest."
The Manus website offers numerous specific use cases in different areas. These are some examples that allow understanding the potential of this tool:
Free initial access and pricing
After an initial waitlist access phase, any user can now start using Manus for free, receiving an initial bonus of 1,000 credits and the possibility of adding credits for one daily task. But if you use the following personal invitation, you will receive 500 additional credits initially (1,500 credits).
From there, there are various payment levels depending on usage: basic ($16 per month), Plus ($33 per month), or Pro ($166 per month).
In this video, Manus AI co-founder and chief scientist Yichao 'Peak' Ji presents the product:
