Atlas Obscura, the travel website for discovering fascinating and unusual places
Atlas Obscura is not a traditional travel website, but since its creation in 2009 it has become an essential reference for thousands of people around the world looking for unusual destinations, little-known extraordinary places and other curious and interesting information related to travel.
This website is also a great community of explorers who feed an enormous database "of the most wonderful places and foods in the world." As of today, there are more than 30,500 references in Atlas Obscura contributed by its users that include, as explained on the website, "from a secret apartment at the top of the Eiffel Tower to bridges built with living roots, from a chicken-shaped temple to an island ruled by cats, from a fruit that tastes like chocolate pudding to a spicy chutney made from red ants."
Additionally, in Atlas Obscura we can find journalistic stories about hidden places, scientific curiosities or gastronomic wonders, among other stories, or books such as "Atlas Obscura: An Explorer's Guide to the World's Hidden Wonders", the first work published by this site that became number 1 on The New York Times and Amazon bestseller lists.

Noomo Beat, an immersive and personalized AI-based musical experience
Noomo Beat is the title of the spectacular immersive musical and audiovisual experience based on artificial intelligence that has been created by Noomo Agency and is competing in the Webby Awards in the category of best use of AI by a website.
In Noomo Beat, each user can create their personalized musical and visual experience, in which AI-generated music is combined with a 3D visual environment shaped by each note and rhythm.
To do this, the user simply needs to select a music genre from various available options, their mood, the tempo, a theme and a preferred color... and enjoy the experience, which can be shared with other users.

"Decarbonize Your Life", Heatmap's award-winning section
"Decarbonize Your Life" is the title of a special section offered by the digital publication Heatmap News that aims to help users "make decisions in your own life that are better for the climate, for yourself, and for the world we all live in."
This section has just won a National Magazine Award in the category of service journalism. These annual awards are organized by the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME).
In addition to specific information "about how (and why) we think about decarbonizing your life," the section also offers practical recommendations to do so.
Heatmap News is a digital publication just over two years old specializing in providing news related to climate change and its impact across multiple areas. "We tell the inside story of the race to fix the planet, with deep reporting on emerging decarbonization trends, like electric vehicles, clean hydrogen, and carbon capture, in addition to climate change and its impact on our economy, politics, and society." they say in their presentation.
