The 100 Greatest Movies of All Time, according to Variety
What are the greatest films in the history of cinema? This is the question that the veteran American magazine Variety sought to answer at the end of 2022, as cinema celebrated its first century of existence.
It was the first time the Variety team had taken on this challenge. To compile the list, they sought the opinions of more than 30 professionals from the publication—film critics, journalists, and editors—who submitted hundreds of proposals and engaged in thorough debates to decide which films would make the cut.
They aimed for the list to reflect the wide variety of film genres and different geographical origins, as explained in the magazine's introduction.
The result is the list presented below.

WordReference: Free Online Dictionaries and Other Language Tools
WordReference offers online dictionaries and other free language tools for all users. It is one of the oldest projects on the internet in this field, launched in 1999 by its creator, Michael Kellogg.
Its most popular dictionaries are English-Spanish, English-French, English-Italian, Spanish-French, and Spanish-Portuguese.
One of the popular features of WordReference is its forums, where you can find discussions about the meanings and translations of words and expressions in various languages.
Additionally, WordReference publishes the Word of the Day newsletter every day from Monday to Friday, providing information about an English word (with two levels: basic and intermediate). For each word, it offers a definition, usage examples, popular references (e.g., videos from series, movies, or songs where the word is featured), origin, or a link to its translation in various languages, among other content.
